Thank you letters are a quick and easy way to show your appreciation to others for their thoughtfulness, and few other romantic ideas are as affordable or affective at letting someone know how much their actions mean to you. Especially in today’s impersonal, fast paced world, a few short, simple, hand written thank you cards are wonderful romantic ideas that will make a person feel great.

But unfortunately, many of us limit our thank you notes to friends and colleagues who have done something special for us, or to people who give us gifts. Sending thank you letters to gift givers and other people is great, but when is the last time you sent a romantic thank you note to that special someone who does more for you than anyone else in the world?

In many romantic relationships or marriages, especially ones that have gone on for some time, it’s easy for partners to take for granted all of the wonderful things their significant others do for them on a daily basis. While some of us wouldn’t think twice about firing off a thank you card to a colleague who helped us with a business lead, we might overlook the fact that our sweetheart does much more significant things for us every day.

What speed dial number do you use for your sweetheart?

DO U USE SPEED DIAL 4 UR SWEETHEART ?

Here’s a quick question for Romance Tracker readers: do you have the phone number of your boyfriend, girlfriend, wife or husband programmed into your cell phone’s speed dial? If so, what number are they programmed under? Did you pick that number because it was the next one available, or does your lover’s speed dial number have some special significance?

Before you laugh, there are plenty of reasons why you might want to assign a specific speed dial number for your sweetheart! Pressing number one on my cell phone dials my significant other, because she’s most important thing in mylife and the number I call the most. But I know other people who put their special someone on number eight because of its resemblance to the “infinity” sign . . . signifying a love that will last forever.

In one of my favorite episodes of “Seinfeld,” Jerry began to resent his girlfriend because she refused to give him the “number one” spot on her speed dial. What do you think?

A romantic couple can experience many different types of love, but “Runaway Love” is probably the most sought after kind of romance . . . and one of the most dangerous and difficult to achieve.

So, what is Runaway Love? Simply put, Runaway Love is the type of romance that completely overpowers a person and makes everything else in life seem completely unimportant in comparison. Runaway Love makes a person feel as though their romance gives them the ability to run away from all other cares and worries in their life. When you experience Runaway Love, your romantic relationship becomes the single most important aspect of your existence.

First of all, why is Runaway Love difficult to find? Mainly because most people are too pragmatic to make a romantic relationship more important than anything else in their life. Sure, many people may say that their lover is the most important thing to them, but if it came down to choosing between their romance or their children, for example, the vast majority of lovers would chose their children.

This type of pragmatic romance is not Runaway Love, and there’s nothing wrong with putting certain important things in your life before your romantic relationship. For most people, family and other aspects are more important than their romance could ever be, and Runaway Love is not an appealing option for them.
